CARMKS respects your privacy. This policy describes how CARMKS processes personal information through carmks.com and the CARMKS Android application.
02. Information we collect
Depending on your use of the services, we collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, account and authentication information, GPS location when permitted, order details, and payment-related transaction information.
03. How information is used
We use information to register and authenticate accounts, send OTPs, process orders, arrange delivery, determine delivery availability, provide customer support, maintain transaction records, protect our services, and comply with applicable law.
04. Location permissions
The Android application may request location permission to help determine delivery location or service availability. You can change permissions in Android settings. Actual foreground or background location usage must be verified before publication.
05. Payments
CARMKS offers Cash on Delivery and online payments processed by Razorpay. Razorpay handles sensitive card and UPI payment credentials; CARMKS retains payment transaction IDs, amounts, and payment status as needed for order processing and records. 06. Information sharing
Information may be shared as needed with Razorpay, delivery providers, OTP providers, hosting providers, and legally authorized authorities. The exact service providers and any analytics or advertising SDKs must be confirmed before publication.
07. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Password and OTP storage and security controls must be verified against the production implementation.
08. Data retention
We retain information as needed for service delivery, business records, dispute resolution, and applicable legal requirements. Specific retention periods and deletion practices must be confirmed before publication.
09. Account and data deletion
You can request account and associated data deletion by emailing carmksmoto@carmks.com with the subject “CARMKS Account Deletion Request”. We may verify ownership and retain records required by law. Google Play may also require an in-app deletion request route and an external account-deletion web page.
10. Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to applicable law, and can manage device location permissions.
11. Children’s privacy
If our services process children’s personal information, we will follow applicable consent and privacy requirements. The app’s intended age group must be confirmed before publication.
12. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services and data practices. The effective date will be updated when changes are published.
